My father used to say...

My father used to say these things to me and I used to think as a teenager yeah right whatever Dad!..

But as you get older and have kids yourself you find yourself saying the same things because you have found meaning in what he said to you.

'It only takes one smile in a room of people to fill it with warmth'

'Son you cannot fail if you never give in'

'Two little ducks are stuck in a bucket of milk both start to move there feet, one gives in and says to the other  it's too hard and sinks to it's death the other goes faster and churns the milk and gets out to live another day'

'Sometimes we all make mistakes, the best thing you can do son is learn from them'

'Never stop learning, never stop reading the moment you do is the day you give up'

'The only time you should rest is the time when you have four wooden walls and a top and bottom sunk in the soil or burnt to a crisp'

'Dont get mad when people dislike you turn any negative into a positive and learn why'

'Life is like a long journey often we dont know the destination but have we stop off points we wish to visit and things to learn from '

'You have a gift it's called life, now use it to better yourself and others and live in the present'
